No one's asking, but we're answering anyway.
What does 252 mean?
It comes from Proverbs 25:2, a verse that demonstrates God's will that we search Him out in all truth. Jeremiah 33:3 confirms this when God said 'Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.' We have a lot of questions, Father God...lots.
Why did you start 252?
Church can be a very valuable place to deepen your faith and unite with fellow believers, but with so many people having varying degrees of spiritual need it becomes impossible for any one ministry to cover them all. It is also difficult to discuss material posted here in a way that is mutually edifying to such a diverse group. We here at 252 believe in understanding what is happening in the world and judging events by the Word of God whilst also building up our fellow believer in Christ, who we seek to glorify. In essence, this is a place where we are free to ask questions and seek understanding according to our spiritual hunger. We do not fear things Jesus did not fear, and he confronted men possessed by thousands of demons without flinching.
Beside that, there's only so many times you can be enriched by talking about how much Jesus loves us. How much more 'us'-centered can that get?
What kind of material will you feature?
Our motto is 'God Unhinged'. Our categories are listed on the front page, but our goal is to feature videos and articles that go into what most would see an uncomfortable territory. From a biblical perspective we confront the paranormal, the hardest questions people have about the bible, and other situations difficult to investigate with a scriptural/prophetic viewpoint. We don't try to fit anything into a box and don't bring ego or tradition into deciphering biblical prophecy.
How do we know the information is accurate?
At 252, we don't have all the answers. So everything on this site is under constant watch, and we are constantly vetting and reviewing information for accuracy. If we find new and factually compelling information that is found to contradict old information, we examine the claims to determine their veracity before featuring it on the site. These items will be labeled 'Under Review' next to it's title. Contact us if you find something that you feel might be right or wrong.
